MoGo BBQ (Korean/Mexican). Now, upon trying MoGo multiple times and sampling various menu items, I realize that my first impression does not carry over into the rest of their food. Yes, they do cook up tasty tacos, but their burritos are another story. Their chicken options are something to avoid, and their sliders are just decent. Yeah, things do change, and off nights do exist, but I am beginning to think it is a little more than that.Rating: 5.9/1020 Jan, 2012Short Rib Burrito (dish review). It is huge, packed with rice, and costs about seven bucks. What is it? MoGo’s Short Rib Burrito. Sound good, right? Well, it really doesn’t taste like it sounds. The meat is vastly outnumbered inside the tortilla by rice and lettuce (or cabbage), and by MoGo’s sauce. Their meat is satisfying is a taco, but when placed in a burrito, the tiny morsels stand little chance of being really noticeable amidst the plethora of other ingredients. I just wanted this to be good so badly, but, unfortunately, it wasn’t.24 Nov, 2011Korean Tacos (dish review). I know Korean tacos sounds like just about the strangest thing you’ve ever heard of. But trust me, they’re delicious. These particular plates consist of delicious meats perfectly cooked in amazing marinades with out of this world seasoning. Just addf a little salsa and you’re all set. For just a few dollars, you could get your hands on one of these babies and be transported to another dimension where Korean-Mexican fusion actually makes sense.24 Nov, 2011MoGo BBQ (Korean/Mexican). This truck deserves serious props. It pulls off Korean tacos with ease. The food they serve is too good to snuff or write off. I know that fusion has never been one of my favorites. But, oh, do I love their tacos. The meat is tender, tasty and juicy, and the tortillas are prime quality. Then, add on to that amazing, yet subtle toppings, sauces and salsas and you have an amazing dish fit for any occasion.Rating: 7.9/10 tasteperiod.blogspot.com
