This is a somewhat difficult review to write comparing to lots of supper-positive reviews here, but this is based on actual experience and I will explain 3 star rating below. The restaurant is located inside Marriott Santa Clara hotel. We stopped by for dinner. It seems that restaurant is focused on seasonal ingredients and updates the menu quite often.Started from the wine list, which is quite expensive, but features some super-rare finds such as Sine Qua None and DRC. After long back and forth, we ordered a bottle of Turley Cinsault ($59) which was delicious.Next the appetizer – I had a beets salad, which was possibly one of the most creative beets salads I ever had, containing apple pure and different types of beets (red, white, yellow), definitely very tasty. Now, this is where the problems started. We had a very long wait for the entree to arrive (30+ minutes), without anyone ever checking on us. When the entrees finally arrived, I mentioned that I was happy that they finally managed to catch that fish (one of the people in our party ordered a fish dish). Instead of apologizing or making a joke, our waiter proclaimed you cant rush perfection and left.I was not too hungry and ordered scallops appetizer as my entree. The dish which arrived was beautifully presented but contained 2 quarter size scallops which were also overcooked. A very upsetting experience considering that those two tiny scallops were $18.Overall, service was very patronizing, based on all the comments from our server. The wine was pushed into the glasses without any need, just to finish the bottle quickly.Overall, the food should be rated as 4 or 4.5, but restaurant visit should be an experience, and our experience was sub-par…. talk-a-vino.com

A GOOD hotel restaurant? WHAT?!. If you travel enough, you quickly learn that you should avoid hotel restaurants AT ALL COSTS. They always are HORRIBLE and incredibly overpriced. I don’t know why this is, but it seems to be the trend.Well *NOT* at Parcel 104. This place was great. I went with a bunch of business associates and against all odds it was delicious. I had short ribs and foie gras and we split a bottle of wine.If you have to go to Sillicon Valley stay at the Santa Clara Marriott and enjoy this restaurant!

Good food and wine. Small selection but fresh. ATROCIOUS lady sever that thought it necessary to tell us that this is a high end restaurant when we asked for an order of fries. Go to Characters when staying at the Mariott or only use the lounge at Parcels.

Thank you Bradley! Exceptional as always! My favorites-frois gras, pork chop, cheese plate, citrus dessert.

Great silicon valley restaurant. Word of mouth got us here and we loved it! Do not be put out that it is in a hotel. The setting and food were great. Locally sourced. We had local sweet gem lettuce salad with a goat cheese and risotto crouton, hampshire pork belly and cabbage which was superb as an appetizer with brick oven roasted asparagus with a mini quiche and green garlic vinaigrette. Entree was seared pacific blue marline with english peas, daikon pappardelle and wild mushrooms. You should go to this fabulous restaurant. 4 stars.
