Certainly no expert on Ethiopian Food but I found the Vegetarian Combo to be delightful. Flavorful and aromatic with wonderful spices and you can’t have a more intimate dining experience than eating with your fingers….
Good standby. Pretty good Ethiopian food. Not the best I’ve had, but very good. Very friendly staff.
I’m a huge fan of Ethiopian cuisine and I have experienced several restaurants in the bay area and I have to say this place is less then mediocre. The food is good, but not great and the atmosphere is less than inviting. I only went there once which was enough for me. A request to the owners: please get rid of those awful fluorescent lights buzzing overhead.
Great healthy food. I didn’t know I had to eat with my hands. Nice experience. I recommend this restaurant.
Great food right at home.. A great place for Ethiopian/Eritrean food without the trip to the city. The prices are fair and the service is friendly (it’s family owned and run). A word of caution to those with sensitive stomachs; all the meat dishes have a fair amount of heat to them and the spices are not the typical red-sauce type.
Great food. Modest hole in the wall restaurant with nice Ethiopian/Eritrean art on the walls. Food is simple and delicious. If you’ve never had this style of cuisine, it’s a must try!
