Not that great. I was monumentally disappointed in Carmen’s. I had heard about it from coworkers and read the reviews on line. Most great, some not so much. Perhaps my expectations were too high but I thought I would get a really great burger and fries. Wrong. The Bleu Cheese Burger wasn’t anything to write home about. And while I prefer shoestring french fries, these weren’t that great either. If you really want a GREAT burger you have to go to Campbell or Palo Alto for Kirk’s Steakburgers, grilled over charcoal with a toppings bar to create your own masterpiece. Also their fries and onion strings are to die for. I can’t imagine why people think Carmen’s is such a treasure. There is nothing special about this place.
