It’s nice place to hangout for good pizza accomplished by good beer. Pizza’s they offer are nice and fresh. We tried Margherita and Pazzo both were yummy. I recommend the beer here, you can try 15 or more different beers and then you can decide which one you like the most.
It’s a beer place, dummy!. The food is here to support the beer, not the other way around. Pizza, meatball sub, and mozzarella veggie sandwich were all excellent, but Pliny the Elder was the star. If you’re bothered by tattoos, nose rings and hipster facial hair, you don’t deserve to partake of ANY of this brewery’s offerings. Wives, bring your husbands.
Very rude service. We were from out of town and didn’t understand all the rules of this area, and despite being responsible adults they treated us as if we were children. The whole experience was very disturbing, and something that in all my travels I have never experienced before. I will make sure that the travel company and anyone else associated with them never advises anyone to go here:
Its About the beer, baby. The Pizza bites are dam good as well! So this place is kind of like the Mecca for Northern California beer and its a title that is well deserved, the beers are wonderful, yes they brew more than one kind of beer for all you people that just focus on Pliny the Elder, If you get a chance to stop by try the sampler of beers and a basket of drews pizza bites. The crowds are the only bad thing about the place. I give it 4.5 beer steins out of 5 for the brews and 3 forks out of 5 for the food.
Not a good place for a Dodger fan to wander in to eat lunch…but they do have great salads! Loved the Gorgonzola with added tuna salad! Fair price and huge portion! Too bad I don’t drink or I’d have tried a beer …
