GREAT Vietnamese in East County!. #37 (Bun) is completely addictive. The menu has a lot to offer but I just can’t stop ordering #37!For years we’ve been driving up to Mira Mesa or Linda Vista to satisfy our cravings for Vietnamese food. When we noticed this place we were both hopeful, but skeptical…until we tried it!The bean sprouts are so fresh it’s insane. I swear they must be growing them right there in the kitchen.The spring rolls (which are NOT fried) are filled with fresh delicious goodness.I’m not a huge fan of Pho but my boyfriend loves it and once he’s added the big plate of mint and basil that comes with it- the aroma is just divine.The food comes out nice and fast (especially the spring rolls, which usually appear within a couple of minutes of us ordering them) and there’s plenty of seating so we never have to wait for a table. The diners are a very mixed group too so it’s nice to go in and see such a variety of people, of all ages.The owners are always really nice and after visiting a couple of times, they remembered us and were enthusiastic about welcoming us back.If you enjoy Vietnamese food but you don’t love driving a long ways to get it, you’ll be THRILLED with this place!
