Some of the best BBQ to be found in Southern California. Worth the wait, just cozy up with a beer after you put your name in.

Very good food! The beers are overpriced and not special. If you have ever had good German beer you will be disappointed in these limp micro brews.

The meat’s tasty, try the shrimp!. The bbq shrimp is by far the tastiest I have EVER eaten. Not your typical New Orleans style, which is good, the chef here takes it to a whole new level. Cold smoked shrimp, finished in a warm, rich, spicy-sweet sauce, surrounded by toasted baguette slices to dip in all the deliciousness. Just enough kick to make your cold beverage of choice even more refreshing. I live in San Diego, and will crave this dish until I am lucky enough to be in Seal Beach again.

Beachwood BBQ. Finally made it to Beachwood on a recent trip. We had a HUGE party, we took up half the dining room, and they still had no problem accommodating us. We were there to drink their amazing selection of beers on draft but once I saw the menu I was more interested in the food. I went with the triple meat sampler so I could try as much as possible. I got the ribs, brisket, and smoked chicken and all of them were awesome. I really liked how they had all different kinds of sauce on the table. I also got the blue cheese grits and they were out of this world.Gabe and his staff could not have been nicer. I am so glad we decided to go here. He even opened a few bottles from the cellar for us to try. One of the best places we visited on our trip for sure. I can’t wait to return.

Unique. Great tap beers, followed by just awesome food!

Tried the brisket and pulled pork sandwiches. Ordered the steak fries with bacon and cheese and buffalo sauce as an app. Loved them all. Found the brisket a bit too heavy on the sauce. The pulled pork and fries were very good. Great beer selection and friendly service. Expect to wait a few minutes for a table.
