My happy place. Great selection of whiskey and bourbon, knowledgeable bartenders, delicious food, interesting beers, who could ask for more?…

Great selection of craft beer. Brisket is legit. Bacon building ‘rocks’ were inedible. Collard greens were sweet, (not my thing) empanadas were tasty but super greasy. All in all, the food is fair but somewhat overpriced.
Over-rated in my opinion. Perhaps I’m getting too old for the deep fried fare. Burgers are very average and the menu could use more diverse offerings esp for those seeking healthier options when dining with hard-core carnivore companions. Staff was helpful and upbeat.

Amazing Late Night. We got there just as they closed for dinner, but the waitress said they had a late night menu. So instead of going next door to Subway we decided to stay. Best decision ever! It’s a small late night menu but everything we had was fantastic. We got the pork dumplings with amazing coleslaw ( i hate coleslaw by the way). I ordered the brisket chilli which was also great because I hate beans, and they don’t but beans in it! It was smokey with a kick! And I had a bite of my friend’sgrilled cheese brisket and I feel in love with the sauce!! If I ever come back to LA I can only imagine how great the regular menu is! It is a little pricy, but well worth it!!!!
Listen to Chris. Great ribs and slaw. Plus we happened upon 1/2 price Chimay night. The only thing to top that would be if Chris Isaak (one his fav restaurants apparently) had stopped by and shouted the room.
7/10. The fries are good. The new bar area is fantastic. The selection is stellar and the barkeeps knowledgeable for the beer snobs. Yet the food is not impressive. In fact so far I have yet to be pleased. The only acceptable items are BBQ items. Stay clear away from the papaya salad. Also, don’t know how but they managed to screw up fried calamari. It is a shame since their stuff is kind of pricey. I would reccommend sticking to fries and beer – no deals but worth it. Try one of the Brewdogs or Mikkellers.
Wow what a spot a must try, awsome food a a beer list of 20 pages
