I had the French toast combo with bacon for breakfast. But we also ordered the biscuits and gravy. The French toast was great, and everything else was great too. The gravy tasted more like chicken gravy than sausage gravy, but it will still good.

Friendly cheerful rude staff.So you would think how could a restaurant screw up a grilled cheese sandwich? it tasted like fish just very disappointed.10 Aug, 2011Awful Food!. Corky’s is nothing more then a name change from the Old Lamp Lighter Restaurant. Lets face it the menu sucks especially when you have to send back food or they don’t get your order right. The only good dish is there fried chicken only all the side dishes suck like the lumpy mashed potatoes to the canned gravy to there flat no tasting vegetables. I didn’t like the food or the service.
WTF. Came to this place today with my girlfriend. We had to wait to be seated although there were plenty of open seats. After waiting we got seated on a dirty ass table. ??? Fools took forever and wasn’t good. Wiser of all the waitress never came back after giving us our food. Terrible service. Will never return. Hope we don’t get food poisoning
Awesome Broasted Chicken. Have been going to Corky’s then Lampligher with my parents and now my family. Was glad to see it change back to Corky’s a few months ago. It’s like a historic landmark on Van Nuys Blvd. The place is under newer management and they are great. Service good food always good too. Best Broasted Chicken on the planet.
Wonderful feeling, Great Food!. This place is special, what can I say? It’s got that cool retro 60’s vibe and the food is really good. I found the menu to be very unique- I ordered the egg whites, turkey sausage and fettucini with marinara! I was confused at first but it was delicious! What a breakfast! Owner and staff were super friendly and eager to please. Will definitely be back. Thank you 🙂
GREAT; GLAD ITS BACK. Yes wen tto corky as a kid and went it left we missed it . I returned happily to fined a freindly owner, great service and food fair rates, and neat bar the cork . for all type and classes its good. were lucky its back gag 2010
