This place is about as Italian as McDonalds is Scottish. The food bears no resemblance to any vaguely Italian cuisine. Whatever it is, it’s not very good. Never again
Average food at best. The wine list, while it looks impressive when delivered to the table, in fact only contains about 12 different wines, and they were out of four of them. The food was acceptable, but nothing exceptional. Even the caprese was a bland tasteless affair. The seafood pasta dish I had did display some hope with the large New Zealand green lipped mussels, but the taste was just bland and uninteresting. Not bad, but not good either. Over all my experience was underwhelming. I won’t return.
The price you pay if for the amazing quality you get. I have been to many Italian resturants and have never had such great experience like I did when I came here. I will definitely be going back. Service and food is ++
Yummy Italian. This place is a good choice for a yummy, easy-going Italian Dinner: friendly surroundings and peaceful setting. Although they didnt have all the items listed on the menu when we were there the first time, we were both VERY pleased with the food we ordered and have been back a few more times. If you live in the area, this place is worth a visit. The prices are very reasonable and they make great sauces (which is the most important part of an Italian dish!)
I should have oases too.. The best thing here was the mini garlic rolls. The salad mista came with 1000 island dressing.. Good but Italian? The eggplant Parmesan was so over cooked with no texture it reminded me of baby food. I filled my belly but that was it.. The only positive was the staff was very nice and not pushy..
I’ll pass. I had the pizza and was hugely disappointed. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic Italian food. It is average at best and why settle for average in town full of great Italian food. Try Simon’s next door, although not Italian, his numerous pasta dishes (including the not on the menu pesto) will stand up to anything else you will find in the Valley and outshine Cucina Bene any day and all of his desserts are hand made and are to die for.
