Great, except for the namesake dish?. Excellent food and atmosphere. The only thing missing was — a great Tiramisu!?!? What they call Tiramisu was more like chocolate mousse in a dark/white chocolate cup with a bit of cake swirled in. Very disappointing for a restaurant with that name. C’mon, offer a great traditional Tiramisu, your take on it if you must, and maybe another creative flavor but in the standard vein. On the other hand, the Panna Cotta was terrific.

Everything, from the bread to the dessert, tasted bland and boring. Barely better than cafeteria food at 3x the cost. Will not be going back.
One of the Best. This is one of my top resturants in all of Los Angeles. The father son team remeber you if you have been in there even once, for me it was a couple of times a week for lunch. You are treated like family by the entire staff. There daily specials are fantastic. They do monthly wine dinners that are out of this world. Great food and a must eat, especially if you are in Sherman Oaks.
Best Northern Italian. Il Tiramisu is the best mid-priced Northern Italian in the Valley if not all of L.A. Intimate setting and delicious, reasonably price menu. The wine list is short but well chosen and very reasonably priced. The father and son owners run the place themselves and are always accommodating, even for a large party on short notice. If you’re interested in dessert, try the namesake Tiramisu, which is light and creamy. I’ve never had anything less than a great experience.
