Idiots lol pizza is still bad no matter what you guys say11 Feb, 2012Disappointing. I went in to order the other day and first off the cashier was rude, he wasn’t helpful with me choosing something since it was my first time, . i ended ordering a medium veggie. so the cashier goes and makes it and takes FOREVER to make and the pizza was undercooked and had way too many toppings. surely never going back there again.

Leaning tower pizza & pasta, sherman oaks, ca.. I’m housesitting for friends in Sherman Oaks, and began checking out nearby eateries, Leaning Tower Pizza & Pasta among them. The first time I went there, I tried their cold Antipasto Sandwich/Sub (pepperoni, black forest ham, salami, bell peppers, red onion, olives lettuce, tomato, mozzarella, italian dressing, mayo & mustard) which was both fresh and pretty tasty. I’ve gone back a few times and tried three of their spagetti dishes: aglio & oil, meatball & red sauce, the pesto with chicken, as well as their fettucine alfredo with mushrooms. I have to say I’m impressed with the freshness of the ingrediants, and I really liked their sauces (alfredo, garlic & oil, pesto & tomato – the alfredo was esp. good) and the obvious care they put into everything they make, and I don’t think I’ve ever had meatballs quite like theirs – which they make with basil which was interesting, positive surprise. Definitely worth checking out.Gonna’ try their pizza’s next.

Stopped in after finding this place using the random search. The owner was very pleasant, the pizzeria was clean and cozy. We ordered a large pizza and it was excellent, the toppings were top notch and t pizza was cooked just nearly perfect. The price was very affordable. I would recommend this to anyone from a guy on patrol to a family looking for a great dinner.

Last night having just arrived in Los Angeles wanted pizza badly. Since I was in Sherman Oaks I searched the neighborhood and found Leaning Tower. Let me just say that there was not one thing bad I can say about this incredible pizza pie. The veggies were thinly sliced, the meats were quality, and the sauce was perfectly sweet with just the balance of spice. One of the best quality pizzas I’ve ever had! And you can order meatballs on your pizza too! No BS! This is great pizza.

Best pizza in the Valley!. The cheese here is AMAZING! The crust is AMAZING! I’m a serious meat eater but I frequently order the cheese pizza from Leaning Tower! That’s how good it is! I highly recommend this place.

Freshness of the mushrooms, and the cheese really amazed me. From Tom K5/10/2009 I am originally from the East coast and have lived there most of my life. After spending the last couple years in LA, I have been so disappointed by the Italian food and specifically Pizza places in LA. I have been driving to Pasadena to find pizza that was somewhat near the thin crust NY style pizza I am accustomed to. Leaning Tower is a 2 minute walk from where I live and spotted the name change a couple days ago when I went to drop off my dry cleaning. I went inside to confirm that they were new owners since the last place was terrible; been over a year since I have been there, twice total. I talked with the owner and he told me about the ingredients they used for the pizza: the cheese, sauce, tomatoes, etc. At first, I thought, just another owner trying to sell me. But, I figured I would give them a shot since I was still searching for a pizza place and they were close. I ordered a mushroom and peperoni pizza and it was the BEST pizza I have had in LA. The taste of the tomato sauce, the freshness of the mushrooms, and the cheese really amazed me. The crust was a perfect NY style thin crust, extra crispy just like I asked. Even my wife who doesn’t like eating the crust ate the whole thing! It was so good, I went back for another the next day. And I surely will be back to try out there sandwiches. If you are looking for a great pizza and live anywhere in LA, not even just the Valley, it will be worth your drive. The prices are great and the pizza is better! You won’t regret it.
