Big menu with something for everyone. Service was not very good, had to ask 3 times for the drink I ordered and it came after my meal with no apologies. Nothing special. I wouldn’t go back based on the service not the food which was good (granted I had a Roast beef sandwich). facebook.com

Unfriendly seating policy!. It was Sunday, January 26th about11am. My wife waited in line at Sweet Butter to order brunch while I sat at the table. The manager came up and asked me to get up. That we were not permitted to sit without food already ordered. I calmly expressed my disappointment, got my wife out of line and left.I would be doing your readers a disservice by not warning them about this major inconvenience. Sweet Butter is not inexpensive and not having a place to sit after paying a decent amount of money is unacceptable. I strongly suggest you avoid this place on weekends when seating is a joke. There are too many other brunch spots in and around Sherman Oaks that make the experience much more pleasurable.
