I live around the corner. When I moved in I was happy to see a coffee shop that roasts as well. I’ve been in a few times, new and old owners, and have been disappointed every time. The coffee is either very acidic or bitter. The staff usually make me feel like I’m interrupting their day by coming in. Perhaps because I’m not a regular. I stop in every so often to see if it’s changed, but it never has. Oh well… I’ll just go to the much friendlier and better tasting coffee shop down the street. No, I don’t mean Starbucks.

Great Fresh Coffee. The Coffee Roaster is great! They roast their coffee fresh daily in small batches so you are getting the freshest coffee possible! It has such a family feel and everything about the shop makes it a fun experience to come back to over and over again. Whether you’re looking for just a fresh delicious cup of coffee or a latte, mocha etc to start off your morning, the Coffee Roaster in Sherman Oaks has it. They also have a wonderful selection of fresh loose leaf teas available on hand! Try them out, you won’t be disappointed!
