Sooo much food you will always need a doggie bag…. This place gives you solo much food before dinner it’s unreal. I’m not kidding.Salad, soup, bread, vegetable plate with salami, pasta AND then dinner! It’s a noisy dark and dingy hole in the wall, but you will definitely have to role out the door to your car.The wait staff is very…shall I say,,,interesting and some what handsome!Lots of local regulars keep it real. It use to be an old brothel back in the day. Ask for Jeannie, she is the proprietor and can tell you all about the history of the place, as well as what took place up stairs…she should have been a movie star, she hasn’t aged a day since thirty. You have to see it to believe it!Family operated and owned, Jon Jon is the best waiter, bar none.You won’t be sorry, and you will be back!
Fabulous!!. Everything about this wonderful place screams old Italy! The food is wonderful as well as the history. The minestrone soup is the best I have ever tasted! The family that owns this restaurant and bar are the most charming characters around. This is not only worth a visit on the way to somewhere else; its worth the destination.
