We will definitely stop by next time we are in the area….

A PicaSSo Among Martin Lewis’s. Ironically thanks to Starbucks, locally owned Cafes such as the Picazo family’s become the Picassos of the industry while Starbucks and others become the lesser accomplished, like painter Martin Lewis. This family owned and operated Cafe and Deli stands on the shoulders of the great American Roadside Cafes open at 5:30 a.m. their espresso drinks are made from a first rate machine and knowledgeable barristas. Breakfast meals are on the menu as well as a fresh each day variety of pastries. The family at Picazo’s presents a high quality, personally attended, variety of Deli foods simply not available at chains and busier tourist attractions. The atmosphere is pure Americana in a building that has stood for at least 60 years. Each morning two or three newspapers are set out ( no need to buy one ) on the coffee table in front of the comfortable couch. A separate room but connected room is spaciously filled with tables and a flat screen T.V. for news and sports enthusiasts. Picazo’s service is in line with the philosophy of ‘customer first’ and the entire staff practice this. It is real pleasure to visit this ever popular place !
