We headed north of San Francisco for the day in search of redwoods forests. We aimed for Guerneville and we were there around lunchtime. After a brief drive along the main street, we decided on River Inn Grill for lunch. It has a nice family restaurant/diner feel to it. SWMBO chose the BLT Sandwich; simple sandwich, properly done. I was little surprised to see they had an Eggplant Parmesan Sandwich, so I thought I would give it a try. I suspect it was a frozen bread eggplant slice, but nonetheless, it was reasonably good. I also asked our server about the best places to see the redwoods near town, and she was able to offer a couple of good suggestions. Thank you.
