Stopped in here for dinner after a movie. We couldn’t decide what to eat so dived in for a burger.The place was packed to the rafters and had a good vibe. We ordered burgers and the wait began. We were seated by the kitchen and it was apparent that they were under siege.However…after about 35 minutes they brought a plate of twisted fries to us (for free) and apologised profusely for the delay. The hostess then came over and sat with us and explained the reason for the delay and thanked us sincerely for waiting. The burgers arrived shortly thereafter and they really were worth the wait. Juicy, smoky, delicious and generous. Almost perfect burgers.Whilst we were eating the hostess returned and again apologised and offered us both a free shot of our choice so my wife had a kahlua and I had a bourbon that is specially bottled for this restaurant.Despite the time waiting I can’t fault this place. The level and quality of service combined with a genuine desire to provide us with a great meal and experience whilst under great pressure speaks volumes.I cannot recommend them highly enough. We left with big smiles and happy stomachs.
