Wait staff super friendly but the food was aweful. I ordered French toast which apparently hadn’t been thoroughly thawed by the time it was re-cooked. Yuck! The coffee does the job but is not tasty. I will not be going here again.
I wish I could give a better review because the staff was so nice and the restaurant was cute and clean. But the food was awful! The overly bright color and odd texture of my scrambled eggs makes me sure they were liquid eggs. The potatoes in the homes fries were all different thicknesses so some were barely cooked and others burnt black. And my pork chops were dry and hard enough that I could have used them to pound nails. I will not be returning.
I have to say I was disappointed with the food. I order the oatmeal that only inculeded the oatmeal with a chose of raisens and walnuts. I was asked if I wanted a half side of banana and I said ok. No toast came with it either it was extra for another $2 and the banana was also another extra $1 and some. The oatmeal was bland and it was missing something even when it had cinnamon.I have to say that the oatmeal at Berts was the best I had in a long time witch is a cafe across the street. They include everything that I mention without the extra charges. The service I have to say is good and the ladies are all very nice; however if you really want good food go across the street.

Ernies is a MUST if your in Tahoe, the best breakfast in town! Paul’s Omlet is AMAZING!! The wait is never too long but definatly worth it! Berts (the old Ernies) is also delish!
Very good food fast service and a real locals favorite.
A Tradition for me. This place has great food, good home town cooking and feeling. Whats not to love. I go here every time I go to Lake Tahoe.
