Good menu. The staff has their noses in the air. Ten minutes before anyone even spoke to us at the bar. We had to fish around ourselves to find a sushi menu. I’ll pass the next time I’m in Tahoe.
We were promptly seated and served. Curtis waited on us and was very attentive. I had a sashimi plate and it was delicious. They have interesting cocktails that I would recommend. Only negative thing we could think of was my wife said the long bench seat behind the bar was not comfortable and she would have preferred a table seat.
Just finished having a wonderful meal @ Kalani’s sat in the bar was happy hour enjoyed a beer Matthew had a nice glass of wine had sushi our server Cad was excellent let us take our time with the menu even suggested his favorite roll, had dessert loved that they had espresso so I had affagato (espresso poured over ice cream) Chad suggested a chocolate port to go with our dessert which we really enjoyed. Highly recommend sit in the bar aNd enjoy Chads service!
While the menu showed promise, the food lacked. The seared tuna was the worst I have had at a restaurant, I was embarrassed I paid $35 for the plate.
