Decent Mexican food. Hole in the wall place, but seemed clean. The steak was a bit fatty.
First, I have to say that the service we received here was outstanding! The young woman who sat us and then was our server was friendly and attentive! The food was good (we had tamales and the chile verde), and it was good, maybe a little bland for our taste- but good. You could tell it was homemade.. I would recommend trying here if you’re in the mood for Mexican in the south Lake Tahoe area! 🙂
Really great chili verde. Not great or friendly service.
Went after reading other reviews. Got there five minutes before closing the night before TDay and the nice guy allowed us to order to go. Ordered shrimp burrito and asado burrito. Definitely worth the trip. Salsa bar was loaded. Meat was not chewy, nor tough and juuust right. A huge burrito, and not for the meek Veggies inside complemented the whole thing. Service, while limited in my exposure to it, was great Definitely tasty, cheap, and recommended.
Service wasn’t much to speak of, but the fish tacos were awesome.
Awesome, authentic Mexican greatness, where the mexican locals I know go and trust the quality, I listen to them over gringos.
