This was the worst BBQ 3 of us ever had! The prices were over twice as much as really fine BBQ also. The beer was nice and cold though.
Don’t walk, run from this place. Do you like crummy bbq served by arrogant self absorbed jerks?? Then this is your place. We had 2 combos and a side of corn bread and it was 65 dollars. The plates the rib combo with a total of 6 ribs (2 beef 2 pork and 2 back) with 2 of the smallest amounts of beans and slaw you can get, about a shot glass worth, the other combo was the ham chicken brisket combo, they are supposed to be known for brisket but it was clearly days old and tough along with a bone on breast of chicken that was just chopped up bones and all, again a skimpy amount of protein and sides. On top of all that the bbq across the board was marginal at best. You can buy lloyds from the grocery store and its better than Womack could ever hope to be.
Yes it’s expensive, but everything in Tahoe is expensive. The food was great despite the slow, overwhelmed service. It’s a small location with seating for less than 20 (comfortably) so time it right to avoid an uncomfortable wait.
Mention right away you are a local and it may help with your bill ; ) Always have to bring Tahoe first timers to Womacks.
Way way way to expensive for what you get. Slow slow service. But did love the BBQ sauce.
The most expensive BBQ I’ve ever eaten. Underwhelmed
