Upscale. Great food. Awesome service. Got into this place while strolling SF downtown. I think we were underdressed as everyone he was in formal and well groomed. Anyway, we were hungry for some real food! We ordered seared Halibut with mushrooms, pasta filled with meat, lime gelato. It was delicious, but the seat we got was too cramped. A good place for date, they have great affordable wines. But reserve for a nice seat.

What a disappointment. the Salumi Misti was excellent than it was all downhill from there. Sent back the Risotto it was overcooked and was overpowered by the cherries and stone fruit. Replaced it with Gnocchi which was so over cooked it tasted like mush. Scallops were ok, nothing to rave about as was the ravioli dish my wife had.Excellent choice of wine, waiter was green but nice as were the managers were very nice and helpful It was also very laid and the decor was bland. facebook.com

Something special. In a town known for its Italian food, this place is something special. The dishes are traditional but take advantage of local providers. The pastas are freshly made with toppings like a five hour pork sugo. (They make a mushroom sugo for those who don’t eat meat.). They also make their own salumi. The noise level can be high, so avoid the after-work crowd. P.S. for those on a budget, there’s a lower- priced sister wine bar next door.

Fine service, fresh high quality food. Dined at the bar and received excellent attention. I was impressed at the bartender’s ability to multi task drinks and give us such attention too. Drinks were great, everything we ordered was great. We didn’t leave a bite on any of our plates. Very comfortable yet refined atmosphere.

We sat at the bar and had top notch service ,excellent food, and loved the atmosphere. I highly recommend all the appetizers and all the desserts. I will definitely be back.

Ah-mazing. We stopped here for lunch while visiting San Fran on a chilly day and craved a warm plate of pasta. Perbacco delivered. Impeccable service, and a menu that made it very hard to choose. Ended up with the papardelle with braised short rib (heaven on a plate), and quail agnolotti and a crisp fresh salad. Wine was great too. Can’t wait to go back.
