  Upon arriving the first thing you will notice is how big this restaurant is, and no wonder since there was a decent size crowd waiting their turn to get seated. We put in our name with the hostess and were told it was going to be an hour wait. Wow, a 1 hour wait-time on a Wednesday night in Buena Park. I couldnt believe it. Just a side note, Buena Park, CA is not where one goes to party it up.Luckily, we only had to wait about 1/2 hour before we got seated.The one thing I love about Korean BBQ are all the yummy pickled side dishes you get with your barbecued meat. Daikon ( a type of radish), and Kimchi, being my top two favorites.We ordered the Prime Rib and the Prime Marinated Short Rib.Our waiter, Isaac, was super-awesome and answered any questions we had about the food without judgement. When he found out I love Kimchi, Isaac went a head and ordered me a Kimchi jjigae ( a spicy stew made with kimchi, meat, tofu and other ingredients) and what KHD Baekjeong calls a Korean Lunchbox. Both on the house! Im starting to like this food blogging thing.The Jjigae was fantastic, the broth spicy and salty, the only thing I was a tad disappointed about was the tofu. It wasnt the super soft kind, which is just my preferred taste for this stew.Their Korean Lunch Box is made up of white rice, fried eggs, kimchi and fermented sweet beans. What they do next with it, is by far one of the most entertaining food experience I have had. Our waiter took the Lunchbox closed it and shook it for Jesus.Its sweet, savory and spicy and Im now wondering how I might attempt to make this at home.My family and I had a great dinner that night.
