This is a very small place, been there for lunch with a colleague who eats only veg. and this was his suggestion. Had thali which had a couple of rotis, chole, dal, samosa and a small sweet. Curries were tasteless, rice was a bit dry and never had such a weird samosa. This place also sells Indian snacks and I had namkeen (in a box) which was pretty good.Prices are quite cheap, service is bad and food may not be appealing to most.
This is another mom-and-pop type restaurant in the bay area. It is run by a family and it is pretty well run. You will not be disappointed with the food here. It is a vegetarian restaurant with lot of appetizers. We have tried their samosa, vada pav, combo(that includes 2 curries, rotis, and raita), pav bhaji. Everything tasted amazing. Off course we didn’t eat all of them in one visit. We visited this place twice to try whatever we wanted to eat.Their chaat items are good too and you will be amazed at the quality of their food. They have lot of snacks that you can buy on per pound basis. A must visit place in bay area if you are chaat-lover 🙂
