This used to be my go to South Indian place in the bay area. However on my last visit recently I am sorry to say it has lowered standards across quite a bit. The food is uninspired and bland. The service can be slow since on the weekend they were packed. The bathroom could be lot cleaner. The new decor is okay. I ordered idly, casa and a rava masala dosa. The idly was dense, the casa es doughy, and the dosa was limp. Nothing to write home about. The place still packs in the eaters so maybe they think they don’t have to improve, but it is only a matter of time.
I know this is mostly a South-Indian restaurant, but the chole bhature here is amazing!! All in all the food is good, only wish they did keep the place a little more clean
