Beware! Prices shown on online menu are all wrong. Most of their non-veg items/curries are 13.99 and online they are perhaps showing an old menu with 9.99-10.99. This is lying and Bait & Switch. Call to check prices before going.
It’s a great place to eat if you love mughlai food. Though they need to work on the ambience and sitting area but the food is great. Their kababs and curries are one of the very best in Bay area. You can always get the food to go and that would be a better option.
I came here assuming this would be as great as the Shalimar in Fremont but without the long drive there, and boy was I disappointed! No doubt the food is great here compared to most places around, even in Sunnyvale, but for the Shalimar brand this was nowhere as great.The food is pricier here compared to Fremont (can’t understand why), the servings were smaller & the place was deserted. I think if they can provide the same quality that you find in Fremont at the same price point you’ll have a full restaurant.If you’re looking for tips – order the kebabs. They’re great. Also try the Nihari & the Chicken Kofta. Both are good.
