The food was decent. The chutneys werent that great which was a real minus for me. The sambar was decent though. Hope they give us the best when we dine in again which isnt probably soon. The service was nice and the food came fast and served hot.

Been to ananda Bhavan after a very long time. Place was empty on Sunday evening, me and my friend ordered rava onion chilli dosa and masala dosa. Both the dosas were very good. Rava dosa was crisp and tasty. Masala dosa was soft and good. Overall, it was a good dinner. We had positive dining experience though service was a bit slow. Sambar, chana chutney were nice.
A decent Indian cuisine restaurant at the heart of all the Santa Clara IT hub. I visited here with my colleague for lunch and the food is pretty good. The only minor downside observed was mini meals side rice dish was extremely spicyand it was without any notice. I think it was not supposed to be spiced that way and may be a genuine mistake. I read the other review here about the cockroaches. It might be true as this place scores 3/5 for ambience. I hope they do something about it soon!!Coming to Food, this is one of the handful of restaurants for best south Indian Vegetarian cuisines( especially tamilnadu dishes). The food is good and always reminds you of A2B if you are from Chennai. Though this place is not by A2B , the food taste similar. Their Kalyana Saapadu is a crowd puller ( not really crowded) but worth the try. Madras filter coffee is also great. Affordable veg food.
!! Caution !! Do not go place is infested with cockroaches . We ordered Rava Masala Dosa and found that small cockroach in the dosa. This is the most disgusting place I have ever been to. Please avoid there are lot more good Indian places in Bay Area ..
