Went to this Chinese place in down town Sunnyvale with colleagues for lunch. We ordered from the lunch menu and had fried prawns, chicken salad, calamari and pepper chicken, chicken curry and Kung pao chicken with steamed rice as there was pork in fried rice. Chicken salad was great and to die for, lettuce was minced with veggies, nuts and chicken. It had tingling spiciness to it and there were rice crispies too. one order was good for three to share. However, main course chicken items were regular, lunch menu included egg roll and soup too.Service was good, portions reasonable and prices were decent too.
Best Chinese Food in Town. Nothing compares to Tao Tao’s in my opinion. It is my favorite chinese restaurant and the people are always friendly. Love the chinese chicken salad as well as the chicken wings for appetizers and the tao tao beef and sweet peas and black mushrooms are amazing.
Great Food. I have been eating at Tao Tao for over 25 years and it is my all time favorite. I moved to South San Jose 2 years ago and still drive to Tao Tao in Sunnyvale for Chinese food. It is hands down the best I have ever had. Really great MaiTai’s also. Might have to go there tonight, yum, yum.
This has been an all time favorite of ours for years! Love, love the Chinese chicken salad. Only wish they’d open one them on the east coast!
Sometimes Great, Sometimes Not. So, this is my favorite chinese restaurant. Been going there for 30 years (really). Chicken salad to die for. But, over the past two years, we’ve gotten really good food there, and on other days, very poor food. Tonight, chicken salad was old, pot stickers not cooked, egg rolls just not very good. Day of the week doesn’t seem to matter. After a night like tonight, I swear I won’t go back (and maybe, this time I won’t)
Best Chinese chicken salad and Mongolian Beef anywhere!! Have been eating there for over 40 years.
