Was there for weekend lunch with friends. This place claims to be andhra cuisine, but the taste is no where close and except two or three items none of them were andhra dishes. Chutneys: peanut and spicy sea sesame seeds were good. Gaare was not fluffy, dosa was not good either. Batter was not fermented properly and these items were not tasty. Andhra chicken curry was good, chicken biryani, mutton biryani, goat curry were below par. Meat was hard and dry, mutton gravy was good and naan was good too.Lastly, service was very bad. We did not find it worth a second visit.

After reading great reviews about this place online, we decided to visit it one Sunday afternoon and the place was SUPER PACKED!! We reached around 12.30 and they said it was a minimum 1 hour wait. And since the menu looked enticing, we decided to stay back and wait. During this time I observed that the owner/manager was not able to manage the crowd well, nor did they have a proper system of keeping a track of the waiting guests. After about 45 min, we got a chance to get seated (luckily because we were the only party of 2 who were waiting)! They had an all day buffet on the occasion of Mothers Day. The spread was pretty good and typical Andhra style, and included dishes like medu vada, biryanis, sambar, lemon rice, paneer butter masala, chicken and fish curry and desserts. Some items like Medu vada, Paneer gravy, chilli chicken, double ka meetha were awesome whereas the others were just about average. Special mention for the biryani which was very good!! Small size dosa and naan were served at the table, which were strictly ok. Priced at 16 per person plus tax, I thought it was not a great value for money. Recommended one-time to anyone looking to have spicy Andhra food in Sunnyvale!

The Ambience was OK. Food was also good as compared to other Indian restaurants in Sunnyvale. Mostly famous for it’s unlimited Thali’s and spicy Biryani. You might have to wait for some time because it is one of the favorite places for most of the South Indians. Well, In their Menu, they have specified that they offer Naan but if you have to order it separately which will cost you also.

Had the meals for dinner here with a couple of friends. The taste is authentic and as close to or better than many restaurants esp Andhra restaurants even back in India. The waiters are good and keep coming back to serve more almost like an infinite loop. Every dish on the plate was extremely well made and tasty. The only problem though is you would end up eating a little too much. The lower score can mostly be attributed to the ambience.

The food here is just okay. We went for dinner and ordered Chettinad chicken and naan. We also wanted to order Chicken biryani as takeaway. At the reception it was written that there is a discount on chicken biryani for takeaways on that particular day. However when we asked the lady at the reception she rudely told us they are not giving the discount now. The staff in general was rude with all the customers. Ambiance is not great. You can smell the food in the seating area, get a view of the kitchen which does not look very clean. The Chettinad chicken was lot below our expectation and the naans were dry.

You can smell their cooking from across the street and I bet you cannot resist at least one visit. All the dishes were authentic and mouthwatering. But the staff is a big turn down – absent minded servers and if you call them up for a take away, the lady speaks very rudely. Makes you less likely to call the place again. My favorites are bhatti ka murgh, chicken 65, chicken and mutton biryani, mirchi ka parota and mirchi bhajji. Don’t miss out on these on your first visit.
