We arrived 20 minutes early for our 715p reservation. We came based on the recommendation of our hotel, their sister venue, and a friend. We were told the food and the service were amazing. Sadly I can’t review the food because the service was terrible. Upon arriving, the host (male, affected, pretending to be french) looked at his watch and gave us the evil eye for arriving early. 30 minutes after our reservation, we still hasn’t been seated. We waited a bit longer, no offer of a complimentary beverage or an other accommodation was made. After another 10 minutes with no update, we decided to leave. Additionally, while at the bar, it took a significant time for service, in fact, it wasn’t until one of the waitresses noticed we hadn’t been taken care of that we got a drink. She seemed to be the only one really working. Lastly I’ll mention that it didn’t seem busy at all, so I have no idea what the holdup was. Needless to say, we won’t be back.

I have not been to the Temecula winery area yet and am only 40 min’s away. Finally my siblings & I took our mother for Mother’s day in May 2012 and was in awe how nice the place is! The flowers are just gorgeous around the resort!!!! I see how so many weddings take place here and especially this time of year. We ate outside at the restaurant and the food was divine! The service was great too! Had a pinot grigio that was tasty! I will definitely be going back!

The Best in Temecula. Excellent food and service. We had Bison short rib confit and filet mignon. Both were superb. The service was timely and not rushed.

Beautiful location in Temecula wine country. Romantic!!!!

Chefs table dinner was disappointing as the inexperienced sous chef, not head chef, came to explain each fixed course dictated by menu. Nice atmosphere, food was not worth a penny. Beautiful villa, at this point would not recommend $300+ for bogus dinner for two. Wish chef demonstrated interest and curiosity and offered ideas at tableside. So disappointed in my waste of money (total bill for 4 for chefs table nearly $700). My friends were disgusted and pissed also.

It’s going the wrong direction. Been here twice for lunch in the past few months. The food is fine – but not for the price. ($17 bucks for a lunch salad?) The atmosphere is nice, but the service has been horrible. Even worse, it seems like the staff does not care. Last visit the waitress was completely unknowlegeable and vague about the menu items and could not describe any of the South Coast wines we wanted to try. My hubby and I were completely frustrated. There are so few good, independent restaurants in the area. Hope they can pull it together…
