We’ve eaten at Sal’s place many times – so many stories… The time Sal brought in his female cockatiel and we tried setting her up with our male cockatiel – that fizzled – at least we tried. There was the time my mother-in-law asked for Sal’s meatball recipe – and he told her! There was a time when Sal played one of his opera tapes (of him), and he’s the real deal. One time I asked one of the workers for Vitello Parmigiana, and he didn’t know what that was. Much good memories, and good food. Oh, and Sal’s Pasta e Fagioli soup is heavenly!!
