I bring my family in all the time. We enjoy the food and atmosphere. The only issue I have is that you decorate for the holidays, but you exclude your Jewish customers, like me. I’d really like to come in and see some Hanukkah decorations up. That would be nice.
Country Harvest is your typical neighborhood diner w/ a young wait staff (high school/college), a decidedly older crowd (think senior citizens) and everyone is on a first name basis. The location is fine in a small strip shopping mall across from the local LDS ward w/ plenty of indoors booths and tables and outdoor patio tables with a view of the parking lot. The servers are kind and friendly and the food is filling and tasty. My dad especially likes their soda bread (not a common bread basket choice in the Ventura County area) and I love their hot muffins. Does any dish stand out? Not really and the quality can vary from one visit to the next; I tend to order the daily special which usually turns out well. For the moderate price and the friendly service, it is loved and respected by locals. thejoyousliving.com

Best around. This is the best place around to eat. The food we had was delicious. Service was tops, the ambience is pleasing. The owner seems to decorate for the season. the the person who did a review that said it was disgusting they must have shave eaten at the same place. If your there on Sunday try the cinnamon roll or the strawberry shortcake at night its big enough for 4.
This is good honest food. Not cordon bleu, but good homestyle cooking.
