Ah yes! My to go place for brunch in the Conejo Valley. and boy is it a winner and well loved by the locals as you can tell from the major queues for brunch. The dining rooms (2) are sunny and well lit and bustling with visitors, hostesses/waitresses and bus boys. Funny now that I type that I don’t remember ever having a male waiter.Onwards to the food. Yum Yum. For brunch they bring out a complimentary swedish pancake and boy are those delicious. Then comes the difficult decision of choosing your entree. I usually choose between: the hearty oat bran pancakes, Belgium waffle with strawberries, or an omelet. The omelet comes with a choice of sides and I highly recommend their home fries (AMAZING) and biscuits (INCREDIBLE – I always take it home for the next day; soooo good!).The food makes Eggs n Things a must visit spot. The wait staff are friendly enough but really it is all about the food. Get their early though if you are on a time crunch b/c you’ll likely have a wait. x thejoyousliving.com

Poor Service. We had decided to beat the crowd for breakfast. We were seated in a timely manner and I was excited to see what all the fuss was about. Unfortunately my experience was quickly ruined by having to sit and wait forever not only to be noticed by our 3 servers, but also for our meal. It was impossible to get what we needed, and even had a couple things not even make it to our table until after the fact. My coffee was never refilled, though I was really craving that second cup of joe. Overall, the food was good, but the service, not so good.
