This was our second visit. We book the wine room. There are two eight top tables.I had the blue cheese wedge. A steak house classic. That was good. My main was a bacon wrapped filet. That was good also. Our table had a range of steaks, fish and beef Wellington. Everyone enjoyed their meals.
Not so PRIME. Had better steak at Sizzler. My opinion the higher meat prices have forced this restaurant to buy less expensive cuts as to not rise prices. Far from a PRIME Steakhouse.
Will go back. Decided to try Holdren’s after reading some of the reviews, which are pretty mixed.Bottom line is that we really enjoyed a weekday dinner. The place is intimate and the service was great. It is, relatively, quiet so you can have a nice conversation over dinner. The food was very good, especially the bone-in ribeye, which was a high quality steak, perfectly grilled.We will, definitely, come back.
