Bland food and unprofessional. Had been here before. Quality of food and service deteriorated. Worst of all, when I gave my feedback, the guy went defensive and was rude.Bad service and bad food makes this place worst indian food I had in a while.Hope ownership pays attention to the food and be more professional.
Wonderful. Great atmosphere. The only Indian food in U.S. that meets my standards. Love that they have a full bar as well.
Amazing indian food along with a fantastic atmosphere. Don’t be afraid to order spicy, if you want the indian flavor add a little heat to your dish. Their dishes all have amazing flavors and they will accommodate any requests that you have.
Disappointing and average. Went to the buffet – it was average. Dal was very smoky (not my style) and tikka massala was too creamy and buttery – lacked depth of flavor. Ordered out a biryani and fish kabob. Biryani was embarrassing – just a tomato fried rice with chucks of lamb. No spice or masala to it, no complexity. The fish kabob was simple grilled fish – again, little to no added flavor. Not sure I would return, will try the buffet 1 more time.
A very tasty meal!. My husband and I had an excellent meal at this restaurant. We have become Indian cuisine connoiseurrs in the last year and this restaurant is among the best we have eaten at thus far, especially considering ambience, service, price, and food. There is a warm atmosphere with great music (Indian-infused techno/ambience) with a rather entertaining, muted, Bollywood film playing on a large screen. Yes, they could do without the movie playing, however, it’s an Indian restaurant so it certainly wasn’t out of place. We ordered Tandoori Mahi-Mahi, Butter Chicken, Peas and Potatoes, Garlic Naan, and Chicken Nirvana. Everything was absolutely excellent. The service was also very friendly and attentive. We are definitely picky people and couldn’t find anything to complain about, which is rare for us! I can’t wait to go and have our left-overs for lunch!
Good but plain food. The Indian cuisine is the one my wife and I love the most, especially due to the complexity and depth of tastes. We dine out and cook Indian food at home, every opportunity we have. The food in Saffron is lacking the depth of great Indian cooking. It is tasty and well prepared, by all means, but is somewhat plain. Behind the hot spiciness there is very little use of complex Indian character and layers of tastes, commonly found in Indian cooking.Bottom line is that I will recommend it. It is clean, the food was good and the service polite and efficient. A word of warning though: more experienced Indian cuisine diners, may be slightly disappointed
Fantastic food in a relaxed atmosphere. They also have a good selection of cocktails
