It's a hot sunny day and we are on a beautiful beach in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico. We found the coolest little restaurant and bar right on the water's edge so we decide to sit with some friends and have lunch while sipping on margaritas. The food was spectacular...Delicioso! What made the food so great was this sauce they put on everything. They put it on their tacos, quesadillas, and even on the pizzas they cooked in an outdoor brick oven. We came up with our own name for the sauce, and since we were in Mexico and the sauce was made with chipotle - Mexipotle! As we sat there with our friends and marveled over how good all the food was, we realized it was the sauce that really took the food to the next level. It was all about the sauce! The sauce was the boss! We decided right then and there that our restaurant would be named Sossy's. The Sossy's name was inspired by this little restaurant and bar in Mexico where indeed the Sauce is the Boss!! Of course, the word "sauce" is misspelled, and for that we blame the margaritas.
