StoneFire!!!!! In Thousand Oaks, California. Upon entering the beautiful building housing StoneFire, we were welcomed by an attractive young woman who took our order, repeated it for accuracy, handed us an electronic monitor to set on whatever table we chose inside or outside. We had been to another location so knew to take our cups to the soft drink machine, pick up plates, napkins and whatever utensils we needed. Soon the StoneFire’s BBQ Chopped Salad with Tri Tip arrived in a large bowl for us to share while waiting for the Margherita Pizza. It was one of those times you just wish the meal would go on forever. The interior is lovely, the well trained staff is intent upon making sure you have everything you need, the restaurant is squeaky clean. Our salad was beautiful, fresh and delicious. The Margherita Pizza was Italian perfection. The tomato sauce had just the right blend of seasoning, the crust was just right, a nice amount of fresh mozzarella and fresh shredded basil created one of the best pizzas I have had since Lake Como. From start to finish our experience was 100%.
