Terrible Experience. We arrived and were told it would be an hour wait, which was fine, that was expected as it was a Saturday night. We walked around the mall and came back after an hour right on time. The host took us to our table and the three of us sat down. All three of us are servers to by habit we start clocking the time until our server greets us. 17 minutes go by, and nothing. One of us goes up to the host stand, and while she is up there talking the the host our server magically appears. We could finally order our drinks, we of course ordered our friends drink as she was up at the host stand inquiring on our servers whereabouts. The server came back with our drinks a few minutes later and then asked if we were ready to put out order in. We indeed were. We gave the server our appetizer order and our entree orders. After the server left the table to put the order in we all realized our server was probably going to mess it up and put the entire order in at the same time, vs putting in the appetizer first then entree. SURE enough, food runners (not our server) bring out the appetizers, and legitimately 3 mins later the entrees (which are cold) are brought out. By now we are starving and choose to eat the food, and luckily we chose to do so because our server did not come once to check on us or we would have told him of the issue with our food. We had been needing refills for awhile, but the server had not come back since taking our entree order. Our other friend went to the host stand to let her know we need drinks, we’ve needed refills for quite sometime and then asked for a manger to bring up the issues and terrible service. The manager could care less. She said she the server had to run to his car for a moment as the excuse for him being gone for the entire course of the meal essentially. All of the sudden people appeared to refill our drinks, keep in mind these were bussers, and food runners, and a completely different server got boxes for us because we were over the entire meal and experience at that point. I asked for the manager this time to come to the table. She came over and I explained everything in detail to her, and how I truly hoped that this was the servers very FIRST day ever working as a server. In the middle of me explaining and educating the manager on everything that went wrong she took the receipt from the table and walked away mid sentence of me speaking to her. She came back with a 20% discount applied to the bill. At this point I was more enraged. The entire meal should have been taken care of. We planned to get cheesecake after our meal at the beginning of arriving to the restaurant but as this point we wanted out and to leave. Keep in mind our server had still not once come to check on us. We are waiting at the table to pay, and still no server in sight to pay. We decided we would go up to the host stand and pay. The three of us start to get up, and guess who MAGICALLY appears from no where. Our so called server who we hadn’t seen since taking our entree order. He took our cards and processed payment and we couldn’t have been happier to get out of that place! I’ve never left a place so fast in my entire life. I’d say to go elsewhere. There are better restaurants with managers that actually care about the guests and don’t let their manager status get to there head.
A very famous place among locals for its food and top of the class service. Lovely staff who would recommend some variety. And if you are up for it, they will also go out of the way and make something off the menu as well. Decent vegetarian options as well and amazing Cheesecakes… After all, it is called the cheesecake factory.Food: 4/5Service: 5/5Value for money: 4/5
Excellent food. Start with Chicken Wings, Nachos and then to main course. The Turkey Burgers were juicy and delicious. So was the Grilled Chicken Tostada Salad. The burgers have generous size and helpings. We tried the Spicy Chicken Cashew, which is recommended. Try any cheesecakes and they are divine!
So this is my second Cheesecake Factory in one week (see Waikiki). Again you can’t go wrong with Cheesecake Factory they are cookie cutter ‘franchise’. I had the smokehouse burger and was not disappointed. Only drawback was more rare than my requested med-rare but not a reason for me to complain or not recommend. Rest of the food excellent, and presented well. We had the blueberry mojito which sounded wrong to me but was an excellent drink. This restaurant has a good atmosphere and is reasonably lit. Definite stop in between shopping.Atmosphere: +1Food: +.5Price: +.5Presentation: +1Professionalism: +1Other:
