Ordered the Pot Roast: the cream of Broccoli soup that came with it was very nicely done. The pot roast meat was melt in your mouth well seasoned pieces, the veggies were fresh, and the mashed potatoes lumpy just the way I like them.I also got blackberry pie for dessert: delicious. I’m stuffed.Service is inattentive bordering on being MIA. Why?Another weird observation today: restaurant is 50% empty yet it took 10 minutes for me to be seated. Same for the couples before me and after me. They seem fully staffed to boot.
Came around 6:30 am on a weekday. Walked right up to the counter. Coffee is better than average for a chain. Had to try their corned beef hash – have to say, theirs is truly legit: home made from shredded, extremely flavorful corned beef, griddled with some potatoe cubes (but it is mostly about the corned beef). Everything came out hot, eggs cooked perfectly over easy. Homemade hash browns, more than could be eaten. Excellent variety of homemade hot sauses if that floats your boat and it does mine (I fancy the chipotle). The only issue was the hint of an odd taste in the pancake which I would attribute to griddle carryover (from some prevously cooked meat). I would go again and recommend to friends.
