We had a lunch buffet and food was ex cellent (tested vegan food only) Seating was very comfortable with sofas. There was also a party going on at the same time. Best of all days inn hotel is in the same complex.very useful if u are planning to stay overnight.

Another Great Indian Restaurant In Torrance. Even though Bombay Tandoori has been open since last summer, this has been my first visit. I remember when this place was known as Punjab India and I remember having a Yelp review for it at the time. I would only go to Punjab India only now and then, I viewed it as a three star restaurant, the food was good but nothing special and the interior and exterior were desperate for a makeover. The banquettes were in need of repair, there was graffiti on the window, and I would not know how to enter the restaurant. It was as though the place was struggling to compete with all the other Indian restaurants in the area. Now renamed as Bombay Tandoori, it still has the same manager Robby, who is an absolute sweetheart. He loves to chat, and he knows when to leave you alone. I have my head down when I eat, nom-nom-nom, and all he did was take my plates away and refill my soda. The couple on the other side kept chatting to him and asking questions about the food.The food is really good, considering it was a weekday lunch buffet, there was plenty to eat. One thing I noticed about the food, is just how healthy it is. There was nothing greasy or gloopy. I must come back for the weekend lunch buffet.The interior is amazing. Everything is super clean and organized.A great place to bring a date or a special dinner.
Lunch at this restaurant is an experience in itself – be it food, ambience, customer service… Outstanding in every way. Robbie’s hospitality is the best.
Tasty and very good punjabi khana. I have a lot of friends from punjab even though I’m from haryana . Punjabi food is 1st on my list. I got together with friends at the south bay ford for drive test on a car and end up buying it. So time to celebrate for new car. We drove over to this newely opened Bombay tandoori for dinner. 4guys ordered 4 taj mahal and some chicken wings. The wings came out after about 20 minutes, kind of long I think but after having one order of it we ordered two more and more beer. Dinner we had fish tandoori, chicken chili, lamb chops and saag with naan and rice. We stayed at this restaurant for over two and half hours enjoying the food and Beer and the music. Guys working there were really cool and chating with us and told us they served about 400 people on grand opening day last month. And belly dancer on opening day, man I missed it. Anyways you have to try this place and then tell me if you ever had any better food and service. Chillll
