It’s always so hard to find good tempura. Usually they are soggy, too oily, too much batter, or the batter just slides right off. You can, however, find some good tempura at Hannosuke.Its in the food court at the Torrance Mitsuwa market. This means you get your food pretty quickly . It’s always consistently delicious. They pre-sauce it for you if you get a donburi (on rice) but they have extra (slightly spicy sauce) on the side you can grab. Everything is fried to a gorgeous golden color and the insides are cooked perfectly. Even the soft boiled egg can hold the crispy batter and still be so soft and runny on the inside. It’s by far my favorite spot in the food court! sylviageatery.com
