This is a great sushi place. Kim used to work at Paradise Sushi in Hermosa but now he owns this place. I come here each time I visit my friends. I live in Bend OR. My friend eat here once a week and love it too.

Definitely a great place to have some basic sushi. I ordered to go, so I didn’t get the dine-in experence, but the place seemed very inviting and cozy. I had a delicious Teri chicken combo with a CA roll. I also had a Philly, tuna, and TNT roll. All were delightful. They weren’t the freshest I’ve had, great nonetheless. I would definitely eat here again.
Sushi Gone Wild and Mr. Kim are simply the best! We come down from Hermosa Beach all the time just to eat there! The atmosphere, food and drinks are the best! Great prices too! My bf’s birthday last night was spent there, they made it sooooo special for him!!! They also use this special rice that is better for you with extra fiber in it, it’s so yummy too. I can’t say enough good things, and Mr. Kim is the nicest guy, we love him!
Simply excellent, service, music and flavors

Awful.. My family & I went last night after reading the recommendation in the Daily Breeze. As suggested, we made a reservation for 4 at the bar. When we arrived, 5 minutes early, we were hardly acknowledged and then it was apparent that there was no way the bar would be available for a party of 4 for at least an hour. Why bother with a reservation? The service was incredibly slow, my husband’s sake was lukewarm, my tea was served with a tea bag, and at least three of the sushi items we ordered were not edible – as in, a salmon skin roll that had to be spit out. They are totally unorganized and the restaurant is really not that clean. The music is blaring loud for such a tiny place, tv’s in every corner on a different station – really, a shame. It was very disappointing.
