I give this place 1 star. I got a rueban hot dog combo meal to go and received the order placed before me receipt. Was given an electronic buzzer and sat down, there were only 3 other people there. 15 mins later a lady was calling a number and nobody was getting up so assumed it was mine. It was on a tray and had to ask for it to go again and she just threw the meal in a bag. The dog was small, tasteless, and tuff to chew and had leaked onto my fries, the fries looked and tasted 4 hours old, the only thing good was the fountain drink. I will never return.
Bad Service. I used to go to Jerry’s dogs fairly often, but after today’s experience at one of the stores, I am not going back.I went to the store at Irvine Market Place this afternoon (around 1:30pm Saturday 3/19/2011).I placed my usual order of a Cheeseburger, Fries and a Chocolate Shake.I must have waited at least a half hour for my food, and it still was not ready. This is the longest I’ve ever waited.The family of 5 that ordered directly in front of me was already finished eating their food, and I was still waiting for mine.I actually went back to the cashier and asked for my money back because it was taking way too long.It really wasn’t until I asked for my money back, that they finally then took some action to complete my order, but by that time, the burger was cold, and the fries were cold and soggy. The milk shake had melted already so it was pretty watery. It was pretty gross. Overall, it was a pretty disappointing experience.I will not be returning to Jerry’s dogs.

I’ve been coming here since they opened. It used to be a friendly place, eager to please. Something has changed. They rumn a leaner crew now, the food takes too kong, and the crew doesn’t even notice when the corn dogs go out burnt. No one cleans the tables and wet rags re left out presumably so you can wipe a table yourself. Idon’t care what the hot dogs taste like any more. Poor execution is poor execution.
Da real deal!!!. Two words… chili cheese fries. well maybe thats 3 words, but its the real deal. I live right up the street from this place and I have to tell you that out of all the places I have eaten at in irvine, this place is the most consistent. The chili is iLL. (for those hip impared) it means very good. The hamburgers are okay, not much to talk about there. basically if your looking for a good hotdog and some great chili, Jerry’s the place to go…
