#sprinkles and their cupcakes are the best thing. They are perfect when it comes to icing and cake. They are one of my favourite cupcake store. The three flavour I have to get are dark chocolate, red velvet, mocha and smores when its summer
Last minute visit before closing for the day, managed to get red velvet cupcake and ice cream which both tasted great though way too sweet for some. The employees were friendly and able to suggest alternative available flavor.
It just your average, overrated Sprinkles. It’s not bad at all and the staff has been nice each time I’ve gone. But I don’t see the allure of Sprinkles. They’re average cupcakes, just oversized. Try them just to say you’ve tried them. Heads up though, massive amount of frosting on all cupcakes.
ThankGOODness!!!!. After being disappointed by so many cupcake places I have seen on the Foodnetwork, this place took my vote! I picked the Strawberry cupcake. The service was friendly and polite. The cupcake was moist and full of flavor. Best part was that it tasted FRESH! Covered on top with a strawberry creamy frosting. Deeeee-lishhhhhhh-ous!!!!
Lives up to the Long Line. I don’t know how it happened, but one minute I was walking down Girard in La Jolla minding my own business and the next I was standing in front of a big brown truck being handed a cute box with a vegan red velvet cupcake inside – for free. My brother got a double chocolate cupcake – also for free. Turns out Sprinkles was celebrating an anniversary and we enjoyed the tasty benefit of it.Only a few days before this happened I was in the parking lot where the Sprinkles shop is located and saw a line of (young women, exclusively) snaking out the door and around the side of the building. I wondered why anyone in their right mind would wait in such a long line. Having sampled the vegan cupcake, however, I totally understand.A non-vegan would never detect the difference between this dairy-free beauty and it’s eggy counterpart. The cake was light yet moist and full of homemade flavor. No funky preservative taste. I did scrape off the coconut frosting only because I was trying to reduce as much sugar as possible…A delicious, quality product – get one!! (Vegan, of course!)www.anunrefinedvegan.com
