Ive tried all of the Chinese food in town and this one is the best imo. The meats are generally cooked perfectly, ir the sweet and sour pork comes out with a good crunch even though it has the sauce applied. The Calamari is THE BEST PERIOD locally, super fresh and cooked to perfection. Service/price/location are all top notch.

The Best Americanized Chinese food around. I love Americanized Chinese food which is pork fried rice that you can rely on to be the real McCoy: rice, b-b-q pork, scallions. This terrific bean sprout dish; it’s mild, some might complain, bland, sauce and crunchy, crunchy bean sprouts, which is why I love the sprouts. Their egg foo young is as good as my memory of my first introduction to it. Also, crunchy, the beef foo young has this terrific beef gravy, with sprouts and scallions inside. Yum.The owners/operators are old friends after these many decades of frequenting their establishment. When they go to China on visits or embark on opening another restaurant, and Louie’s gone, I miss him and I miss his wife when he’s around.Every color of person eats here. Every social class. Every age and economic class. And just to add atmosphere in an almost stereotypical V-town fashion is the bar on the corner.Eat in, take out. Spoil yourself.

Yum Yum in my tum tum. This place has bomb a** salt and pepper spare ribs. It has a little bit of spice (and I’m not a hot food kinda person) that gives it just enough flavor to remember you ate it and have you wanting more. My fiance and I went there on a whim midday. We always gauge how good a place is by who eats there and seeing how there were three or four tables with chinese people we figured it had to be good. Thank goodness we got there when we did too, because the placed filled up in a matter of minutes. We had to wait a little while for our food but it was well worth it. We got the house fried rice, the crab won tons and the sizzling rice soup. all delish!
