ONE OF THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE.As soon as my sister and I entered the shop, we were treated with utmost disrespect and passive aggressiveness by an old lady. She was not only terribly impolite but also rushed us while we were selecting our options and did not even bother giving sincere recommendations. If you want to avoid negativity and passive aggressiveness, I urge everyone to visit many other better tasting baklava places in Los Angeles. As for me, this is my first and last visit!
Baklava Heaven. Trays and trays of baklava to be found in this tiny bakery, tucked away in a strip mall in North Hollywood. I got a tray of assorted baklava to go for around $20. They were delicious, each had the right combination of honey, nut filling and phylo dough. The only thing I’d do different is to buy less. They tasted the same, the main difference was the presentation. I also bought a tray of their assorted cookies. I did not like them at all. Are Armenian cookies suppose to be dry and not sweet? That’s how these cookies tasted. Bleh. Next time I’ll go for the baklava and not the cookies.
So Many Kinds of Baklava!!!. I have never seen so many different kinds of Baklava. My co-workers and I would buy a couple pieces to satisfy our sweet crave after lunch; they are always fresh. Somehow we are wondering how can this small bakery sell that many Baklava.
