Awesome Experience. My husband and I stopped in late on a Friday night, and were seated at the bar. We couldn’t have had a better spot to watch the sushi chefs in action. We were served by ‘k’ – and he was friendly, attentive and very talented. He recommended a seared ahi with jalapeno, which was delicious. We also tried the Dragon Roll– excellent crab and spicy tuna with jalapenos. My husband always has quail eggs when we eat sushi, and he had several with sriracha sauce on top…he said they were like butter. We topped off the evening with our favorite yellowtail sashimi and fresh water eel, and of course the cold unfiltered sake. It was a great time, we were served quickly and really enjoyed talking with k. When we’re back in the area, we will definitely stop in again!
Worth the $$$. This has always been a good experience when I could get in. Ahi is small and pricy, but the quality and originality make it worth it. I reccomend going on a sunday afternoon, it seems to be a little less crowded then, or you can just wait for a spot at the bar in thier patio and prepare for a great meal.
