Cute little house converted into a cafe. Interesting seating inside the house. I recommend taking a little walk around the house and checking out the seating. It is not traditional. Great lattes and an AMAZING cake selection. They have so many kinds of whole cakes from which you can buy generous slices. The food can get a little pricy, it can get REALLY crowded, and sometimes the food is just okay. But it would be silly to ask for everything on a menu to be super delicious. The staff is always busy but they are friendly for sure. I recommend this cafe/restaurant. Lots of food options.
Sadly, this quaint little spot has lost any ability to maintain quality. The food is mediocre at best. Today, my meal was just plain bad and my latte was luke warm-quickly turning cold. Come here to socialize and buy what you will but don’t expect it to be good let alone worth the price. This was once one of my favorite spots, a little sad but perhaps the gelato bar down the street can make a cup o’ joe…
Breakfast menu, great food, quick service, order at entering, great outdoor (and indoor) seating, no wo fi
Bohemia ,LA style. OK, it is somewhat overpriced but the lovely atmosphere makes it worth it. The shaded garden patios with antique furniture, fountain,, fruit trees, beauitful Los Angeles weather, Aroma Cafe is dreamy little hang-out. The on-site book store is great, with a very knowledgeable staff.
Eggcellent breakfast served in an eclectic space with a fireplace Great coffee too.
Yes this place is expensive but it is worth it? … yesif you happen to have a bad meal, just send it back, and all of a sudden its great!
Good breakfast. My party of three came to Aroma for breakfast on a Sunday. There wasn’t much of a line, though it probably gets much busier later in the day. I ordered the wonderful salmon stacks — two potato pancakes, with poached eggs, salmon, and hollandaise sauce on top. It was very good. The panini and asian noodle salad with my two dining companions had were also very good from the sampling I had. The coffee drinks were also good according to them. The service is not much. You order at the counter, take a number, find a table outside, and a waiter brings you your dishes. If you order drinks you stick around for a bit until you get them. Water comes out of a pitcher which you poor yourself. Clientele is good with lots of energy. You could tell everyone was enjoying themselves on a very nice Sunday morning in our fair Los Angeles. I wish I tried some of the pastries. They certainly looked delicious!I would definitely come again.
