I had lunch there today and the Baby Back Ribs were amazing. My friend had the pulled pork sandwich and he loved it. Their golden BBQ sauce is a must try with the ribs. Great atmosphere and service.
Delicious BBQ with a pretty hefty price tag depending on whats ordered.Came on a Saturday night with friends. The wait was pretty long so grabbed a couple of drinks from the bar while we waited. We were finally sat on the outside patio and began waiting for our server. We sat for quite a while before a waitress finally came to take our orders for more drinks and food. Once she had finally come over, we began ordering. Our choices were limited due to most items being sold out (I really wanted that best damn chicken sandwich).The food had arrived and was damn delicious!!! Some meats I wish could have been more in portion for the cost like the brisket…really good stuff. The hoe cake was just pure awesome!!! I’d drive back just for that hoe cake and leave satisfied. It was the highlight of the night and we regretted not ordering more.We had left with mixed feelings. The food was great but portions were small for the price. The service was ok, not the best. There was also a mix up with the charging on our cards when checking bank accounts the next morning. Some of us in our group were charged twice but the error was corrected.Me and a friend do plan to go back. For one…THAT HOE CAKE! LOL and as I stated, the food was delicious. We know after our first visit what racks up in cost so to go a bit easy on it next time around. Plus, most of the more reasonable and praised items such as the best damn chicken sandwich and BBQ brisket sandwiches were sold out. We plan on grabbing sandwiches, hoe cakes and some select items from the smoked portion of the menu next visit.Arguably some of the best BBQ I’ve had in a while here in California. Service will determine whether or not this rating changes but you never know what can happen.Visit date 2/7/2015
Fun place / great food. This place was really fun – lots of people, very lively. We had a reservation and needed one. Waiter was very nice and knew the menu well. The sides were as good or better than everything else. I didn’t like the bench seating… not comfortable but otherwise a great experience.
